"Warmth of The Sun"
Documentary Screening
Gina, started her writing filmmaking career over 15 years ago, but she has always been a writer. She recently produced a documentary, “Warmth of The Sun”, a film dedicated to the memory of her late sister, Brenda, who contracted the AIDs virus in 92’, but managed to live with it for 2 decades, despite suffering a heart attack, lung cancer, a stroke, kidney disease, and dialysis. The story is rooted in the power of family love and spirituality throughout Brenda's drug addiction, her pain, and years of suffering. What makes the story so unique, is how she dealt with her illnesses. Brenda handled everything with grace, elegance, and humor, so often, inspiring others from her own hospital bed.
